The support of both Education and New Generation is one of the key objectives incorporated in the CSR Strategy of OKTA AD – Skopje. For several years now, through various activities and initiatives, the company provides its help to the educational process in the country and supports the young talented and ambitious students, who are eager to upgrade their educational and professional development.
Being aware that the contemporary way of living and working requires continuous investment in new knowledge and skills, we are constantly looking for alternatives to support the young people and the educational system as a whole. The successful and dedicated students are the key drivers for the future development of the country, therefore the new generation will be in OKTA’s focus in the future as well.
Until now, the following activities have been realized as part of the “New Generations” project:
42 postgraduate scholarships were awarded to students at the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius”;
7 postgraduate scholarships were awarded to students at the University of Piraeus and the University of Crete in Greece;
So far, more than 100 students were part of OKTA's Internship Program through which they had the opportunity to gain practical experience and upgrade their knowledge. We are especially proud that some of them were employed in the company and remained part of OKTA's team;
Donation of photovoltaic plant to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Information Technologies in Skopje.
Additionally, OKTA continuously supports the non-formal education through its participation in projects such as:
General supporter of GLOW and YMLP Young Leaders Camps that are attendant by more than 100 high school students from all over the country, every summer;
Providing free of charge Greek language lessons in Skopje to 40 high school and university students, as well as young employees in the period of three years.
