Donation day in OKTA
(Skopje, 09.11.2016) - Donation of funds and blood donation activity were two actions by the employees of OKTA to support the campaign against hunger “Think of us” organized by the Red Cross of the City of Skopje. In this humanitarian activity, that the employees of the company traditionally organize, they voluntarily gave away their daily meal tickets. The collected funds were donated to the Red Cross of Skopje where food will be purchased and distributed to families and citizens who are in a difficult economic situation. At the same time employees showed their humanity through blood donation activity, which was organized within the company.
“When we have humanitarian activities encouraged by the employees themselves, the response is always high. We are proud of the initiatives that our employees undertake voluntarily thereby supporting the socially responsible component of the company.” said Marija Stavreva, Corporate Social Responsibility and Communications Manager of OKTA.
The company OKTA together with its employees regularly performs donation activities as support for the global anti-hunger campaign.
