OKTA and Hellenic Petroleum awarded two scholarships for postgraduate studies in Greece
(Skopje, 20.09.2018) - OKTA and Hellenic Petroleum Group continue with their projects on supporting the education and the development of young people in the country. On Tuesday, 18th of September at OKTA’s headquarters, the contracts with the two students who received this year’s scholarships for postgraduate studies at the University of Piraeus, Greece were signed. Natasha Skenderova and Vasilika Kalajdziska will have the privilege to upgrade their knowledge within the study program Energy: Strategy, Law and Economics that is the first MSc program of such type in Southeastern Europe.
The students are awarded full scholarship, that, besides the paid studies from Hellenic Petroleum Group, includes OKTA’s allowance for living expenses in the amount of 1,000 euros per month. The selection of the scholarship winners was made by a professional commission from the University of Piraeus, based on the educational and professional qualifications of the candidates.
For a second consecutive year, Hellenic Petroleum Group awards a total of 25 scholarships for postgraduate studies in Greece to students in the six countries in which the Group operates. In the course of this October, OKTA will support ten more students from the country with scholarships for postgraduate studies from six respective faculties at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius.
