OKTA Joined the Humanitarian Action to Help the Population Affected by Floods

(Skopje, 12.08.2016) - OKTA joined the widespread humanitarian action by donating fuel for the machinery that operates intensively on mitigating the damage from floods. This donation will enable City of Skopje a continuous operation of the machinery engaged in the flooded areas of the municipality of Gazi Baba.

In addition to the assistance with fuel, OKTA donated financial means for procurement of essential products for the affected families. At the same time, the employees of OKTA voluntarily organized a humanitarian action to help their fellow citizens and accordingly, with the collected funds, rubber boots, rubber gloves, gas cylinders and hygiene products were purchased. With cooperation of the Red Cross the products were distributed directly to the flooded areas.

The company and its employees once again demonstrated their humanity and commitment to the society.
