OKTA marked the World Hunger Day by donation
(Skopje, 26.10.2017) - OKTA employees, through collective, voluntary withdrawal of their own meal, marked the World Hunger Day. With the cancellation of the daily food coupon, money was collected for the purchase of food products for socially endangered families in the rural areas of the country. More than 100 family food packages will be delivered to families and citizens who need help through the Red Cross of Skopje. The donation activity was expanded with a blood donation organized within the company, through which the employees once again demonstrated their humanity.
OKTA's employees with these donation and charity initiatives every year mark the World Hunger Day and with concrete steps they are sympathizing with those who are in unfavorable social condition. The traditional action, initiated by the employees themselves, and carried out by the Red Cross within OKTA, is in line with the socially responsible engagement of the company. Collective company effort to fight against hunger is only part of OKTA's frequent donation activities along with its employees.
