OKTA replaced New Year’s corporate gifts by a donation for two primary schools for children with disabilities
(Skopje, 27.12.2017) – The company OKTA used all funds intended for corporate gifts for procurement of speech sets for the primary schools for children with disabilities Idnina and Zlatan Sremec. Thus, the company continues the tradition in the pre-holiday period with an appropriate donation to help schools where children with special needs are taken care of.
The donated speech sets contain elements for audio and visual treatment with digital computer connectivity, which is of great importance for the development and treatment of this category of children. Schools showed appreciation for the donation by explaining that a speech set is necessary for the speech therapy of children in developmental period and in the treatment of voices, words, sentences and text content. This type of treatment covers all categories of disabilities in the development of students with intellectual disability, multi-handicap and autism. With regular and technically supported treatment of children in the developmental period, the results can be extremely positive in expressive speech.
The company states that by this donation they believe they will significantly contribute to the promotion of educational and developmental process of children in these two schools.
