OKTA supporting „Think of us“ campaign of the Red Cross of the City of Skopje
Skopje, 09.11.2023 OKTA AD - Skopje, with a donation of food packages intended for vulnerable categories of citizens, this year again joined the campaign on the occasion of Hunger Day, which under the motto „Think of us“ is organized by the Red Cross of The City of Skopje.
As a socially responsible company, OKTA continuously initiates initiatives to support vulnerable people contributing to the society. In that direction, for more than 15 years, the company actively cooperates with the humanitarian organization, the Red Cross of the city of Skopje, and is regularly part of this campaign. This time, in addition to the donation of 75 packages of food, in the preparation of which the employees of the company helped, the Red Cross organization at OKTA, which has existed for 41 years, also organized the third annual blood donation campaign. The employees donated blood in the company's premises, which further contributed to the encouragement and promotion of human values.
World Food Day has been established since 1979, by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). FAO's main goal is to encourage continued international action to end hunger and ensure regular access to food for all people so they can lead active and healthy lives.
