OKTA supports the Neighboring Elementary Schools with a New Year Donation
Skopje, 25.12.2023 - In anticipation of the New Year holidays, OKTA continues its tradition of donating packages for children from elementary schools located close to the company's headquarters in the Municipality of Ilinden. With the aim of enhancing the educational process and more effectively following of the teaching content, additionally, the company donated televisions intended for the central municipal elementary school "Braka Miladinovci" in Miladinovci, as well as the two branch schools located in the villages of Mrseveci and Tekija in the Municipality of Ilinden.
"During this jubilee year for OKTA, we have implemented several significant socially responsible projects in the country's educational system, and we are concluding the year with a donation that will contribute for improving learning process and increasing interactivity with students. As part of this donation, we included the youngest students from our neighborhood, surprising them with New Year's packages with the aim of contributing to a more cheerful holiday atmosphere. This donation is another proof of our long-term partnership with the residents of the local community in which we operate as a company," stated Marija Stavreva, Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility and Communications at OКTA.
The New Year packages will be distributed to the children from the first to the third grade in the mentioned local elementary schools.
"As a true partner, OKTA is always ready to meet to our requests and needs. That was the case in this situation as well, with the donation of televisions that will be especially useful in teaching program, contributing to a better visualization of the instructional content presented to students. Additionally, this year our youngest students are receiving New Year packages, for which they are particularly happy," emphasized Darko Petkovski, the Director of the central elementary school "Braka Miladinovci," thanking the OKTA’s team for the latest donations.
Education and youth are among the main areas in whose development OKTA continuously focuses its socially responsible projects and investments throughout the years, and such support will continue in the future.
