OKTA will once again heat the youth house of SOS Children's Village
Skopje, April 14, 2025 OKTA AD – Skopje continues its support for the young people in the SOS Children's Village youth house, donating 6,000 liters of extra light heating oil, which will fully cover the heating needs of the house during the heating season, this year as well.
"This is not just another donation from our company, it is a confirmation of our long-term commitment and support to the community, especially to the vulnerable categories within it, which will continue through realization of significant and sustainable projects and donations in the future as well. Children are our future, therefore investing in better conditions for their growth and development means investing in a better tomorrow for everyone", Dimitrios Paschos , CEO of OKTA, said.
SOS Children's Village youth houses provide ongoing care and support for young people over the age of 14, enabling their personal and educational progress, as well as preparation for their future independent life after the age of 18. The organization provides them with an environment in which they can develop safely and securely, with dedicated support from professionals and educators.
"The collaboration with OKTA is a true example of a long-term partnership that brings visible and substantial results. Thanks to this donation, the young people are provided with warmth in their home, allowing them to focus on their daily responsibilities in school and life. For us, such donations leave room for long-term planning of our activities in the service of the personal development of the young people from this vulnerable group," Julijana Nakova Gapo - National Director of SOS Children's Village, said.
As part of its social responsibility strategy, OKTA continuously supports vulnerable categories in society, striving to be an active player in creating better living conditions in the community. This is third consecutive year for OKTA to provide fuel for the complete heating of one of the youth houses at SOS Children's Village. This cooperation will be continued and expanded with realization of more significant donations and sustainable projects, especially in the area of green energy, in direction of demonstration and implementation of good socially responsible practices.
